I have been passionate about art ever since I could hold a crayon. I pursued art education throughout my high school and college years, and worked as a police artist for local departments starting when I was still in high school. After college I volunteered to teach oil painting to senior citizens in my hometown, and loved seeing them discover their hidden talents. I had a long and rewarding career as an FBI special agent, but I never stopped drawing for fun or doing police sketches. When I retired, the first thing I did was begin oil paint painting again. I have had the pleasure of taking classes and workshops from talented artists both local and nationally known. I find it fascinating how the internet has opened up new possibilities for artists to showcase their work and to appreciate the work of others from around the world.

The most amazing thing about being a part of the Springfield Art Guild is it has given me the chance to become friends with many amazing artists. I am also a member and co-owner of the Loft Gallery of Occoquan, LLC, located at 313 Mill St., Occoquan, VA where you can see my work in-person or on the Loft Gallery website, www.loftgallery.org.
