Bio:
Katharine is a native Virginian and has exhibited in various sized galleries and venues in Virginia, New York and Savannah, Georgia. She has enjoyed an art residency in Aix-en-Provence in France and looks forward to another at Chateau d’Orquevaux in the Champagne-Ardenne region in 2025.
She has studied with various watercolor artists at The Art League, Alexandria VA, including Maria McCarty, Gwen Bragg, and Steve Fleming. Katharine has a B.A. in Fine Art with a Concentration in Painting from the University of Longwood, Virginia and earned her Graduate Gemologist Degree from the Gemological Institute of America in NYC which led to a jewelry appraisal career in the Mclean, Virginia for over 20 years.
